The University of Detroit Mercy has developed a program with Continental Automotive Systems, to recruit bilingual graduate engineering students from China, Japan, Mexico and Romania who have undergraduate degrees in electrical mechanical, mechatronic or automotive engineering. The students would receive scholarships to cover 75% tuition of the first two terms of study during the third term students would have a paid co-op at Continental in Michigan, which would help to defray the cost of the final term of study. Upon completion of their degrees, the students would complete one to two years of practical training at Continental in Michigan and then would return to work for Continental in their home country for a minimum of two to three years. They would also receive housing and local transportation while in the US. We are trying to get the word out to students, we've gone through individual universities, the consulates/embassies. Any suggestions that you have regarding recruiting students for this opportunity, would be greatly appreciated. Attached you can find the flyer of the program.
